He who has health has hope; and be who has hope has everything” Arabic proverb India has made rapid strides in the health sector since independence. National Family Health Survey (NFHS) had many eye opening data which indicates that access to health care remains a challenge while the health statics of rural India continue to be poor. Heath status and access to health for the poor in the urban slum dwellers has surfaced to be equally deplorable and have less than 4% of government primary healthcare facilities.
Urban slum dwellers suffers from adverse health condition for mainly two reasons-first the lack of education and thus lack of awareness, and second the unwillingness to lose a days wage in order to reach the nearest medical facility. Healthcare for underprivileged, which is a desperate need. Thus remains unaddressed.
Keep hope alive foundation approaches in the society by bringing quality healthcare service at the doorsteps and also promote health care awareness and contemporary healthcare seeking behaviour among the underprivileged.
We keep follow up of the people in the society by creating Awareness by reaching out people door to door and by showing PPT area wise so that more and more people should know how important is health in this current situation. We make collaboration with the other NGO / foundation for the people who are about to under go any surgery or heart related disease .
And we are still coming up with many new ideas to reach out people of the society.
